“Wichita deserves a true Specialty Coffee experience. An experience that ensnares the senses, and bewilders non coffee drinkers.” -Jon Jones, Co-Founder
Great espresso! Very clean, comfortable, interior with rich woodwork. Definitely a high value on serving high quality drinks! The ownership seems very customer oriented , and are very personable. Although from out of town, I will be back!
I saw Verita as I drive by, and glad I did. The danger of repetition looms, but if you really, really like coffee and espresso, go! The espresso operation is a machine. No wasted motion as cup after cup of incredible espresso flowed. By far the best cup I've had in town. I don't usually gush, but I'll drive the ten miles again. This is a man who loves what he does and it shows in the cup.
GOOD COLD BREW. Being a barista myself, I have tried a lot of cold brews and I know what does and does not make it. I was hesitant to try it again because I try not to get my hopes out about finding a good cold brew in the middle of Kansas, but today I was pleasantly surprised. It was near perfect. DEFINITELY GOING BACK.
As a former barista, I'm a bit critical of drinks I buy. Verita knows what they're doing, as was self-evident in the absolutely perfect latte I enjoyed. Their attention to detail and passion for quality shows in everything from the decor and layout of the shop to the barista's latte design skills. I loved the simplicity of their offerings: beans from one origin every month and limited menu options. I think that frees them to focus on quality, which definitely shows.
